Welcome to Langley Speedway!
Message from Taylor Waste Services’ President Kenny Taylor,
Taylor Waste Services is very excited about our opportunity with Langley Speedway as title sponsor of the Late Model Stock Car Division. For many years, we have supported several race teams in the sponsorship role and always felt that we were getting great exposure to the public along with tremendous value. I appreciate all the effort that Bill Mullis, the City of Hampton and all that work so diligently to bring Langley Speedway back to life.
Now that track repairs are nearly complete, Langley Speedway released its 2017 preseason practice schedule today leading into opening night on April 1st.
With the weather forecast looking much more promising we have decided to run practice on both Saturday AND Sunday. All divisions will be allowed to practice both days. Rest of the schedule for practice is unchanged. (more…)
Langley Speedway announces that the the 100 lap Late Model race will be removed from the July 1st night. This comes after it was brought to attention this was the same night as South Boston Speedway’s 200 lap race, their marquee event of the year. In a rush to provide a schedule for the 2017 season, this scheduling conflict was overlooked and will now be corrected.
“South Boston Speedway has always been and always will be a dear friend to Langley Speedway. Cathy Rice and her staff will always have our support. We express our apologies for this scheduling conflict and look forward to watching our late model drivers race at South Boston on July 1st.” – Bill Mulls, Langley Speedway Track Owner.
The July 1st night will include Super Streets, Super Trucks, Ucars, HRKC Pro Wing Champ Karts, and another division to be announced at a later date.
