Social Media Team Introduced at Langley Speedway

Having begun the 2013 racing season here at Langley Speedway with some exciting racing action, the track has made some new additions to the staff in hopes of vamping up the track’s social media. Hudson Hall put Langley Speedway on the map over the past couple of years by using Social Media, but has taken a job as the Head of Social Media and PR for The Motorsports Group (TMG) with their Nationwide program this year. HAMPTON, Va. (June 8) — C.E. Falk posted his second straight doubleheader sweep, picking up his fifth and sixth wins of the season in the Hardee’s Twin 63s for the EZ Auto in Newport News Late Model Stock Cars, the featured events of Saturday evening’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series program at Langley Speedway.
Nick Smith earned the pole position for the first 63-lapper (a nod to the track’s 63 years of continuous operation), clocking in at 91.230 mph. Matt Waltz was second-fastest, just 84-thousandths of a second off Smith’s pace, and lined up on the outside of Row 1. Greg Edwards, Falk and Dude Gibbs rounded out the top five on the 17-car starting grid. >>READ MORE

The following changes/additions have been made to the schedule for the NWAAS EZ Auto in Newport News LMSC and the Bojangles Enduros.
June 15, 2013 - LMSC has changed to Twin 75's
July 5, 2013 - Enduros have been added for 30 laps
We are also looking at a date to add one additional Enduro event.

RAINOUT POLICY:
Langley Speedway typically runs 4 to 6 Races per weekend program. After 50% of all scheduled laps are run for the evening, and the program is cancelled due to weather, the Racing Program for the night is complete. No refunds will be given. If the 1/2 way point is not achieved, You MUST retain your ticket stub/ rain check for re-entry for the next scheduled night of racing.
