NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Returns to Langley for First Time Since 2018

UPDATE: This race will now take place on August 27, 2022.

After a three-year absence, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will make its return to Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway on April 23, 2022.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour back next year,” said Langley Speedway Promoter & General Manager Vaughan Crittenden. “This race has always been a fan favorite, and I can’t wait to see these Modifieds roar to life again at Langley in 2022.”

“It’s great to be returning to Langley Speedway,” said Jimmy Wilson, Senior Director, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. “Virginia has a rich history in modified racing, and it means a lot that we get to put on a show for the fans at Langley next spring.”

Langley previously hosted the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2017 and 2018. Before that, the track hosted the NASCAR Southern Modified Tour 8 times from 2010 to 2015.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will highlight an action-packed April month of racing at Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway starting with their 2022 season opening night on April 9th.

The full 2022 schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
