Adam Wellbrock Set to Assume the Role of Pit Road Reporter for Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway FloRacing Broadcast for Remainder of 2023

Hampton, VA — Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway continues to grow the future stars of
tomorrow and it is not always someone behind the wheel of a race car. Legends of the sport
like Elton Sawyer, Phill Warren, Denny Hamlin, and NASCAR Cup Series champion crew chief
Cliff Daniels all cut their teeth at Langley Speedway in some form over the years. That tradition
continues as Adam Wellbrock has been named the pit road reporter for the remainder of 2023.

“Working at Langley Speedway is the chance of a lifetime for me,” Wellbrock commented. “I
still remember the day Mr. Hall brought me on board. I’ve been attending races with my dad
since I was a kid and never thought I’d be able to work here every week and has given me
incredible opportunities in the sport.”

Wellbrock has spent the last few years learning many roles around the hollowed grounds of
Langley Speedway with his primary focus on the Public Address room and announcing. Spending
the first year of his time shadowing the likes of Mike Allen, Buck Reuss, Mason Dunn, and
Brian White. He would later become the new voice of Wacky Wednesdays while stepping out
of his comfort zone and working with the Flo Racing production team as a camera operator.

“I started out doing whatever was needed which made me feel important being that kind
of fill-in guy,” Wellbrock went on to say. “I feel [it] has made me versatile and adaptable,
which are skills I can use anywhere. To now have this opportunity to be on pit road every week
is something I could have only dreamed of growing up. I feel very fortunate to be in this
position. I also can’t thank Mr. Hall and Mr. Mullis enough for this opportunity and hope to do
them proud. I also want to thank Vaughan Crittenden, Brian White, and Justin Kern for being so
easy to work with and helping me get better on the broadcasts every week. 2023 is
going to be a crazy season and I can’t wait to be back at the track!”

Wellbrock will continue in his current role as the Wacky Wednesday announcer and will make
his official debut as pit road report this Saturday, June 10th during the Virginia Ship Repair Association race night where the Taylor Waste Services Late Models and Smiths Wraps & Graphics Virginia Racers take to the track for twin races along with other support divisions. Grandstands open at 2:00 PM EDT with qualifying set to begin at 4:30 and the first of eight green flags scheduled to drop at 7:00 PM.
