Hampton, VA —Following one of the most successful King of the Hill events in recent history, Wacky Wednesday and Langley Speedway are pleased to welcome Juan’s Mexican Cafe and Cantina back for the 2024 King of the Hill season.
The success of King of the Hill and Wacky Juans Day along with the 2023 awards banquet only made sense for Juan’s and Wacky to team up once more.

Those values perfectly align with what Juan’s stands for – vibrant energy, delicious food, and good times with friends and family. We can’t wait to bring the heat and the fiesta to the track all season long!”
King of the Hill will continue to cap the Wacky Season off with double-elimination bracket-style racing. Putting the fastest cars in the seven cities against one another to see who will be crowned Juan’s Mexican Cafe and Cantina King of the Hill and take home the hardware along with the $500 cash prize. As in years past registration will be open to all. Returning for 2024 will be three locked-in spots to be awarded to drivers throughout the regular season.

Not only will Juan’s be the official sponsor of the 2024 King of the Hill event but we also look forward to hosting mid-season events and our annual year-end awards once again at Juan’s.”

About Wacky Wednesday
Wacky Wednesdays are our premier midweek street car racing event. Any street-legal car with current inspection tags is eligible for competition. Registration and spectator gates open at 6 PM with the drivers meeting just after 7 PM and competition beginning shortly after. Racing is usually complete by 10:00, providing great family fun on weeknights while ending at a decent hour. Coolers and outside food are allowed in the grandstands during the events and video/photography is encouraged! Come out and join the fun! The 2024 season will start May 29th and will run through August.
